Quiet

As much as I love the warm sun on my face I also appreciate the arrival of Fall and Karl the Fog. San Francisco Bay is known for its micro climates but Karl is our long time  infamous weather “celebrity”. As I walked outside this morning I instantly sensed Karl’s presence. His thick blanket creating a sense of quiet, calm and clarity. Silencing the start of our day yet amplifying every footstep, leaf crunch and bird chirp.  Creating space and giving a voice to the thoughts in my head, surfacing the reflections of my week.  The dense moisture in the air mixing with our local eucalyptus creating Mother Nature’s own diffuser—each deep breath expanding my lungs, each exhale clearing the way for new life.

I’m always a work in progress…I’m continually on that journey and will be until the day I my soul leaves this earth. I’m human, I’m spiritual, I’m a runner/jogger/walker/workout-er, I’m an executive workin’ gal, I’m a lover, I’m a fighter, I’m SO many things that this one section can’t accommodate or express. To know me is to invest time in me…this is just a snippet of who I am, but I welcome you into it! I earned my Bachelors and Masters of Arts from Saint Mary’s College of California, shortly after I became a certified Holistic Health Coach through IIN (Institute of Integrative Nutrition in NYC), a former WW Leader and a life learner. I was born with a passion to help people and now I’ve found a way to live out my vocation through helping others in my professional life as an Executive Admin/Strategic Partner, lifestyle blogger and in my lifelong relationships with people in my life. My best background in the subject matter of Health/Fitness comes based on my own personal experience of shedding over 160 lbs, gaining it back, losing for good again and leaning to maintain. My wisdom comes from my life experiences that I’m both grateful for and respect their purpose in my life.
